Our German Shepherd, "Hercules", had back surgery a couple months ago to repair a compressed disc in his spine. During the first month of his recovery he was barely able to stand on his own and once he stood up he had a very difficult time keeping his balance because he was unable to control his hind legs very well. He made some progress, but seemed to plateau after the first month. it was then that he began the cold laser treatments at Callfield Companion. My wife and I noticed an improvement in his strength and balance after only the second treatment and he has shown steady improvement since. He has received two treatments per week for about four weeks now and we feel that his continued progress is due in large part to the cold laser treatments. We would highly recommend the treatments to anyone in a similar situation because we've seen first hand how well they work. Laser therapy treatment was the perfect choice for our dog, "Murphy", after he underwent surgery for his dislocated hip. For several months, he continuously suffered from pain in his lower back and hind leg which kept him from enjoying his all- time favorite activity, running. Beginning with the initial treatment, his pain was relieved and he began to regain full use of his leg. He is now able to run, play, and be the active, "happy-go-lucky" dog that our family loves so dearly.
