Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. If you are late for your appointment then we will see the next appointment on time. Please try to make your scheduled appointment on time for minimal waiting time.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.
Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.
All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.
For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. A "drop off" means you could bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off' sometime in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
We do accept walk- ins however, we can not guarantee a waiting time and so we recomend that you make an appointment or drop off. If you choose to be worked in your pet will be taken to the back for their exam and then a doctor may talk to you about their findings. If it is a critical case we will definately make time to see you.
Confirmation calls are made the day before your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to make it to your appointment you will need to inform the receptionists as soon as you know. If you do not call to cancel and simply no show for your appointment, we will charge an office visit charge to your account. There is also a fee for surgery patients that simply no show.
